Vibration Measurement
Detect dangers at an early stage
Within the scope of vibration measurements, our team can examine whether a steel chimney system is at risk of vibrations, which can be verified in the course of subsequent recalculations.
During this measurement, the steel chimney systems are stimulated to vibrate. Using appropriate measuring equipment, the vibration amplitudes are then recorded and documented.
Vibrations may lead to failure of the component, if the natural frequency of the system is reached. Vibration dampers reduce the internal forces from dynamic load cases and thus enable dimensioning in line with requirements right down to the foundation.
Nießing supplies customized vibration dampers for the respective steel chimney system, which were already accounted for right from the planning phase, but can also provide retrofitted models for existing systems, in order to meet the new requirements from science and technology.
