Well thought out from the start

To ensure that the project runs smoothly, transport and assembly planning needs to be started as early as possible. In addition to transport engineering, this also includes appropriate crane analyses in order to be able to optimally move even larger/longer components to the assembly site.

We are also not afraid to implement unusual concepts. For example, vertically transporting a 30 m high steel chimney to the installation site.

Getting an overview

DJI drones (Mavic 2 Zoom, Mavic 2 Air) can be used to record construction site situations as well as complex and difficult-to-access plant areas.

For preliminary planning, we can visualize the recordings in such a way that most diverse possibilities in terms of feasibility can be checked. Just to name two examples, the optimal crane parking positions and access routes on construction sites are determined using this method.

Areas in complex plant sections that are difficult to access can be reached safely and easily with drones. For example, this allows for feasibility studies to be carried out, as well as inspections of chimney systems.

The images taken by drones are also very helpful for transport and assembly studies, as they provide a clear picture of the overall situation.
This enables you to select the most optimal solution for the corresponding application.

Planning

CFD flow analysis

The interplay of analytical design, empirical application knowledge and numerical calculation enables optimal planning for the implementation of complex exhaust and noise insulation systems.
Thanks to an in-house CFD department (program ANSYS-Fluent) and competent partners, fluidic analyses are carried out for corresponding fields of application. The fluid mechanical findings provide valuable insights into the flow process and make emerging pressure, flow and heat profiles visible.

Planning

Structural analysis, FEM calculation

We use FEM simulations from ANSYS to calculate the physical behavior of assemblies, components and materials under different boundary conditions for our customers even before the project is executed.
It can be used to predict behavior, exclude damage-prone components, optimize weight and virtually conduct tests This saves a lot of work by providing precise predictions or insights into all technical systems and processes.

Planning

3D design

Nießing’s technicians and engineers develop, design and construct our products using state-of-the-art technology. All designs are carried out on cutting-edge workstations using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD solutions. This way, detailed 3D models are used to continually optimize customer-specific products at all development stages.
