Regular noise level measurements prove that the silencers are still fully effective even after years of operation. The operator is very satisfied with this result, especially since the exhaust gas silencers hardly cause any pressure loss, and operating costs have therefore been greatly reduced compared with conventional systems. The system has proven itself to be so successful that ten more plants have now been equipped with the new silencer technology.

To meet the requirements of heavily contaminated substances, Rockwool uses a large number of silencers in the form of plate resonators. This means that attenuation is fully retained despite the contamination.
