It all began near the Dutch border in the town of Borken-Marbeck:
as a blacksmith's shop for shoeing horses by Heinrich Nießing
sales and repair of agricultural machinery, first agency for "Fendt" tractors
start of industrial manufacture for the agricultural machinery sector
expansion into the field of mining equipment and the development of our own production range
accreditation as a specialist welding company; construction of steel chimneys and flue-gas installations for building projects throughout Germany and for export to many foreign countries
Discontinuation of the agricultural machinery section
Supplier for the maritime sector, initially luxury yachts but now also great crusaders.
Further specialisation in the field of stainless steel processing. Prompted by the move towards turnkey provision of exhaust gas and ventilation plant, Nießing in conjunction with research institutes develops new sound-absorbing systems. Further patented soundproofing systems are included in the product range and the integral sound-absorbing concept "angular stack" wins a number of prizes.
Separation of steel/stainless steel production and distribution to different locations.
The stainless steel production will remain in Marbeck, and the black production will be outsourced to the new plant in Borken in 2010. There are two halls on an area of approx. 10,000 sqm, 4,500 sqm of which are pure hall space.
Nießing has been certified by TÜV NORD as a manufacturer of pressure equipment, see >> certificate.
